The Raging Grannies are a wonderful group of women fighting for peace and performing very amusing songs. I often join forces with them in our efforts to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In my opinion, this is how True peace work looks like in practice, not merely abstract geopolitical discussions at highlevel seminars, etc. Peace begins in the Heart. They have scheduled a world-wide hour Skype conference for December , titled Global Day of Listening, in which a group of peace grandmothers including some Raging Grannies, I hope , along with many leaders in the peace movement such as Cindy Sheehan and Ann Wright will participate.
